Quaid’s Message

“If Pakistan is to take its proper place among the progressive nations of the world, it will have to take up a good deal of leeway in the realm of scientific and technical education which is so necessary for the proper development of the country and the utilization of its resources. The establishment of institution like INSTITUTE OF ENGINEERS will greatly stimulate technical research and help in disseminating available information. THE INSTITUTE OF ENGINEERS will not only benefit the engineers themselves by improving their technical knowledge but also bring lasting benefits to public services which they are called upon to perform. “I wish the Institute every success.”

(Quaid-e-Azam’s message to the first Inaugural Meeting of the Institute of Engineers on June 20, 1948).

Secretary's Message
(Engr. M. Farooq Arbi)

As the Finance Secretary of the NED International Alumni Network (NEDIAN) Association Pakistan, it brings me immense pleasure to extend a warm and heartfelt welcome to all of you on the occasion of the NED Alumni Convention 2025. In this Convention, we are celebrating the success of illustrious NED Alumni by paying tributes to these distinguished NEDIANS.

Our journey, which began with the inaugural convention in 2019, has been an incredible one. The NED University Centennial Convention in 2022 was a testament to our commitment and the outstanding legacy we continue to uphold.

This year, as we convene once again, we are reminded of the enduring strength and solidarity that binds us together as NEDIANS. This convention is not just a gathering; it is a celebration of our shared values, achievements, and aspirations.

As Finance Secretary, I have witnessed firsthand the unwavering dedication and support of our members. Together, we have accomplished remarkable feats, and I have no doubt that the NED Alumni Convention 2025 will mark yet another milestone in our journey.

I urge all of you to actively participate, and foster new connections for the betterment of our Alma Mater. Let us use this opportunity to not only reminisce about our past but also to chart a course for an even brighter future.
